Thinking Friday Happy Hour at a restaurant/brewery such as Rock Bottom Brewery Ballston, Mad Fox Brewery Falls Church, Franklin's Brewery Hyattsville or other mutually agreeable venue?? Maybe July 11th or 18th or other mutually agreeable date??

How many DCSkiers will be checking this out at the end of the month? July 25th and 26th. Sounds like a great time in the Valley (assuming shotguns aren't drowning out the music). I'll be there stumbling around, sampling the nectar...
Kathy and I along with son and a friend of his were just in Prince Fredrick area to visit her folks. I took to boys on a late night tour of some of the monuments in DC so it is doubtful we will be back real soon but I'll watch this thread to see if it is practical to make a quick last minute trip.

7/18 is out for me. I could do 7/11 or 7/25.
Unless it is centrally-located, a Friday HH can be tough to get to due to DC Friday traffic. I.e., I'd love to check out Franklin's, but I'd have trouble getting there for a Friday HH. Saturday or Sunday evening would be a lot better for me.

Hotel rates in Annandale are affordable this time of year.
If we did it on a good date at Franklin's in Hyattsville I wonder if Scott Smith would drive over from his neck of the woods? If Scott came we wouldn't need to pay for a special guest like Glen Plake to ensure big attendance

First person there grab a table large enough for approximately 15. Drink, gab, dine, or all of the above. Friday nights in August are usually not too crazy, we should have room to expand or contract as necessary.

We have a nomination to bring the Mid-A Gathering back to Blue Knob. It is next on the rotation of 2. Take a vote and make it official.
I'll put the date, Aug. 22, on my calender. I'd like to be there.
I plan on being there. Likely to not get there until 6:30 with my work schedule.

The bobbleheads almost outnumbered the people last night at Rock Bottom. Hardy group of five of us skiers: JohnL, RodSmith, Crush&Mary, and I. Bobbleheads included Ian Desmond fresh from the factory, Jayon Werth Garden Gnome, and Screech.
A crazy troublemaker showed up and started to mouth off about T-line, but we had them thrown out of the restaurant...
