I feel cooler already. Thanks for the assurance.
I fully expect to be called an A Hole here but I've found my coping mechanism until Nov 2016.

This image hold absolutely no appeal to me but if tropics and pools are your thing than have fun until the winter winds blow you home again.

Gotta keep Mrs Blue Don happy. She loves her summer vacations.
Come winter time, when I say, "I think I'm going skiing this weekend" she says, OK, have fun and I'll see you Sunday night.
I've been playing around with my old skateboards, not much actual riding but cleaning and fixing up stuff, little test out front or around the block, clean the wheels, then hang it on the wall..
heatwave still going...upper 70's and humid in canaan might not seem bad, but nobody has A/C round here, so depend on swimming holes to cool off!
these local videos may help cool off too:
https://vimeo.com/122254712 check out the temp at bald knob shelter about a minute in. (though we were never cold)
my dog maybe suffering the worst right now, so I may need to show him this one :) https://vimeo.com/123375435
Nice Chaga. Say hello to my friends in WV.
But, you're killin' me. I've just finished a second season in the once snow choked Sierra, the range of the Donner Party. Pretty much nothing of note falls from the Sierra skies now. I sure hope this condition is temporary.
100 degrees here today with high humidity at our house today, and tomorrow predicted. Heat index up around 107. I'm taking my daughter camping this weekend. Thankfully some cooler air, and perhaps some storms predited Saturday and Sunday... and we'll be at higher elevation where upper 80s lower 70s with rain will probably feel pretty nice.
