Planning to head up for the storm.  Unfortunately probably can't leave until 2pm at best so we're going to hit quite a bit of snow at the end of the drive.  Debting between

70 -> 68 -> 220

or

70 -> 340 -> 81 -> 48 (Corridor H)

48 is mostly divided highway now, but the storm is coming from the south and it will have been in the snow an extra hour or two.  Any thoughts?

My thoughts....

Crazy!

70 to 68 to WISP!

Regardless I assume you have chains, shovel, water, blankets, etc.

Good luck!

Called in a couple favors and moved the departure up to noon. Should help and get us through most in daylight.

Got all that stuff except chains.  Gonna have to live with AWD and snows.

Snowing at a good clip already; 11:45. Half to one inch so far.

We ddi indeed.   Mostly not too bad.  Did resort to following a plow for the last ~20 miles on 48. Pulled in just as it got dark.

Coming home was a bit of a surprise. Baltimore is a mess. Made it 200 miles with no issue only to have to leave the car 5 blocks from the house because the subie doesn't have enough ground clearance for the unplowed roads.
