There’s some celebrating going on this morning at Canaan Valley Resort Ski Area. We just learned that we won the top awards in all “Best in Snow” categories for the Southeast region in a new Liftopia awards program. The six categories were “Beginner Friendly,” “Family Friendly,” “Most Challenging,” “Least Crowded,” “Best Value” and “Snow Consistency and Quality.” We beat every other ski resort in the states of West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina in each of  these categories.
