Heavenly view of mountains and ski trails in the vicinity of Schladming, a ski town in the Austrian state of Styria. This is the eastern Alps where summit elevations diminish to typically 10,000 feet or less. This shot makes me think of what the hereafter must look like for the skiing and snowboarding faithful. This type of magnificent mountain scenery extends for almost 700 miles across the Alps.
