I woke up to Weather Underground today and saw this forecast for Alexandria:
Saturday 02/17
Partly cloudy skies during the morning hours will give way to cloudy skies with a mixture of rain and snow developing in the afternoon. High 36F. Winds E at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precip 90%. About one inch of snow expected
Then, I looked at the Poncos, because I'm planning on heading up there for some Sunday skiing:
Saturday Night02/17
Snow will taper off and end in the evening but skies will remain cloudy overnight. Low around 25F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 80%. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches.
It was 3-5 inches a few minutes ago ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Getting up to Hershey to stay with my friend could be a little dicey, but my initial reaction stands:
One can only hope .......
I expected a little better snow than we got at Camelback, but it was a really good day. more to come...
