Scott,
Apologies for raising this issue in the forum, but there was at one time on this website an easy way to see if any new comments were posted to the Lost Ski Areas forum. Has that gone away?

You're right -- I used to have a "recent comments" section on DCSki's home page, but it disappeared during the last re-design when I tried to declutter pages. I've missed having that functionality too, though, so I'll try to re-create it when I have a few spare cycles.
What about Hawksnest NC? One of the first places I skied when I started checking out places around here. They still have tubing but thanks to a dispute about expansion with the local town board mafia and golf course interests they chose to shut down the skiing operations around 2009.
Thanks, Scott. I've always enjoyed the history aspect of dcski, and the 'recent comments' section in Lost Ski Areas always stimulated extra conversation.
I can't see Scott's last post or perhaps crgildart's last post is not recognized by the software as the most recent post.

OK this is weird. My norifications for this thread show that Scott and LHC have posted in this discussion after my above post. However, I can't see any posts after the one I quoted above.. Any idea why?
test
Or Ski Denton in PA? That closed a few years back.
