This is nice - I think every single place i've skied had a trail map made by him - even my little ski resort across from my place.

If anyone wants the complete collection, there is an ongoing Kickstarter for a coffee table book to be produced in 2019 that will include all 200 ski area paintings that Niehues has done in his career. Already way over the goal. Ends 1/3/19. The project team inludes Jason Blevins for the text.

Niehues is going to be inducted into the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame in March 2019. The induction ceremonies will be at Sun Valley. Starting in November, he's doing book signings across the country for the recently released coffee table book The Man Behind The Maps.

I got a signed book from the Kickstarter. It's fantastic to have all his map paintings in one place! Really fun when more than one version is included, which is the case for Alta.
