Realizing this is south of most of us...does anyone know if there is there a story behind this? I’ve seen pond skims at snowshoe and whitetail, and patrol seems to have a much better control on things. If you go to the Instagram page it sounds like the guy did get nicked on the chin enough to need stitches..... all around seems like a horrible idea for both the resort and the boarders.
I’d hate to see these events end because people get hurt as they are a blast to watch, but there was a high profile incident in Colorado last winter that resulted in spectators injuried. (Copper?)
