Victim was a person who had skied in Italy, had contact with another victim in Italy, flew to Colorado, stayed at a Keustone condo, and skied at both Keystone and Vail. He had no symptoms for the first few days in Colorado, and at about day three he did, visited the Summit County hospital, and was found to have the virus.
It is getting LOTS of play in the local press. It'll be interesting to see if spring break visitors are paying attention, and if they cancel travel plans.
Update: The first case of a person staying in Vail was reported yesterday.
Speculation about the imact on mountain tourism is here:
Not first case with an association with a Colorado resort though. An Australian who who took a vacation in the U.S. that included skiing at Vail tested positive for COVID-19 a few days after returning home.
Denver was already hit hard when the American Physical Society cancelled their big conference only a day before it was scheduled to start on March 2, 2020. Usually brings in 11,000 attendees from all over the world. Apparently APS has a smaller meeting scheduled for Washington DC in April.

I know people who have business trips to Denver scheduled in the next month who were hoping to add on a few days of skiing. They might not have the opportunity given how many companies are putting a hold on travel.
