Kim Williams from the Snow Sports Museum of West Virginia provided DCSki with information on a ski area that began development but never opened.
“Located off of Route 219 north of Marlinton, this area was proposed and marketed as a private resort which would have been opened to the public. Work began on this with the cutting of slopes but never went any further due to financial troubles of the developers,” Williams writes. “We found information about this area in a publication from the 1990s.”
