Two new Piston Bully Snow Cats are joining Shawnee Mountain’s fleet of groomers this winter, allowing the Pennsylvania ski area to better groom its 125 acres of slopes. Shawnee Mountain has also completed some snowmaking upgrades, including the installation of new air and water piping on the Pennsylvania Trail and in sections of the base area.

WiFi has been upgraded in the Hope and Trepp Ski Lodges. Shawnee has added additional rental equipment, including 350 new pairs of Salomon skis and bindings, 350 new Flow snowboards and bindings, and 300 Burton helmets. 500 new token-operated lockers have also been installed, and the seasonal locker room has been refurbished with new benches, flooring, and boot lockers.
