Vail Resorts recently announced that Tony Santora will be taking the helm as General Manager of Pennsylvania’s Jack Frost and Big Boulder Resorts on January 1, 2024. Santora most recently served as General Manager of Missouri’s Hidden Valley Ski Resort (not to be confused with Pennsylvania’s similarly-named resort).
In his previous position, Santora leveraged his experience in snowmaking to improve operations at the midwest resort, increasing operating days in a challenging climate. He also formed partnerships with the local community and government officials, and led the Missouri resort to achieve the highest Guest Experience Scores in the Northwest.
A graduate of the University of Utah, Santora earned an M.B.A., and went on to serve as a Sergeant with the Utah State Parks Law Enforcement Rangers, serving at Jordanelle State Park. He later led Utah’s Rockport State Park as Park Manager.
Santora joined Vail Resorts in 2018 as Resort Operations Manager at Park City, Utah, climbing in the ranks to Senior Manager of Building Maintenance and Village Operations.
“I am thrilled to join the Jack Frost Big Boulder team as the new General Manager,” Santora said. “I am eager to bring my passion for the slopes and incredible crew and getting to know our guests.”
