The snow may have melted, but Pennsylvania’s Liberty Mountain Resort plans to stay busy through the summer season with a variety of on-mountain events.

The resort is partnering with the Pennsylvania Win Association to debut a new wine festival celebrating local flavors. Liberty Winefest, which will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., will feature wines from local wineries. Tickets, which begin at $36 if purchased on-line in advance, will include a souvenir wine glass, samples from attending wineries, live music including the Kelly Bell Band and Jonathan Sloan Trio, and wine seminars.

Liberty Mountain is also launching its Music on the Mountain Concert Series on May 29 with the Dan Jamison Trio. The Wednesday evening series will feature different musicians performing at the base area throughout the summer, and include food and yard games, making it an ideal family-friendly event.

The Carroll Valley Golf Course at Liberty Mountain Resort is also open daily throughout the summer from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., providing 18 holes set against a backdrop of the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.

“Liberty is the perfect close-to-home mountain getaway,” said Chris Blackwell, General Manager of the resort. “Whether you’re into live music, sipping wine, hitting the links, delicious food, beautiful weddings, or just looking to unwind, everyone is invited to join in on the fun this summer and experience first-hand why we love Liberty!”
