What’s New for 2003: AvalancheXpress Tubing Hill 2
Author thumbnail By M. Scott Smith, DCSki Editor

Pennsylvania’s AvalancheXpress is about one snow sport in particular: snow tubing. AvalancheXpress provides 10 downhill tubing runs, as well as a tamer “Snowball Run” designed specifically for young children. A tubing hill features a lodge and arcade.

New for 2003, AvalancheXpress has stepped up its tubing hill by over 33% and has added a new flake ice snowmaking system. With the new snowmaking system in place, the hill hopes to open by December 1.

AvalancheXpress is located at the Heritage Hills Golf Resort and Conference Center in York, Pennsylvania.

Why after 4 pm?? Kids are off school and earlier times would be much preferred.
