I saw the forecast on Saturday and texted my friend in Hershey to see if he wanted to go a few days earlier than planned. Alas, he has to work.
I think Elk would probably be a little colder than Montage, maybe worth the extra hour or so round trip.
Montage's slopes face WNW, while Elk is more NNE.
