Local ski areas open 12/15/12?

So which local ski areas are gonna be open this weekend? Looks like Seven Springs will be with limited front side terrain and $39 tickets.

yuck. Looks like warm weather pushing through....again!

Then a bit of cold followed by 5-25 degree above normal temps until after the new year and then a bit more rain as the cold gets pushed back up.

I'm amazed at these warm temps. I'm going to bet that our little local snowtubing hill/ one trail with chair lift hill shuts down for good because of this forever.

I manned up and drove down to Snowshoe tonight.

TR to follow tomorrow evening if I can get the pics from my phone onto this crappy little netbook I brought.

I rode at the shoe the last few days. Spruce + Gandy were in good shape.My buddy in the pic agrees.It was empty .We had a blast

Can you email them from your phone using Gmail or the equivalent web-based email? (Obviously need a smartphone.) They'll be in your email sent messages which you can access on your Netbook. (This is the quickest way for a few pix. On my to do list is configuring cloud based storage.)

You may want to stop using that crappy weather resource. Not seeing that at all from wx sources I trust.

Jealous! It was ok when I was there last weekend, a bit sloppy by Sunday.
