Our trip to Tahoe was a success. Although they weren't getting slammed with storms like they were back in December. We managed to be at Heavenly on Thurs Feb 7th during a quick hitting afternoon storm that dropped several inches in just a few hours and get great soft turns right up till close. The next day we went to Sierra at Tahoe which reported 5-6 inches overnight (was more like 10 in Huckleberry!) It also started snowing hard after lunch and filling tracks back in .We also visited Kirkwood ,Homewood , Squaw and Mt Rose on a run to Reno to drop a friend off.

I usually pack a lunch and don't eat lunch at the lodges on trips but this day we had the barbeque at 360 and it was awesome! My buddy Pulley grinning under there after a full belly and heavy snowfall cranking up .
They had to kick us out at 4 PM when they were closing due to the fact that it was still snowing hard and accumulated a few more inches while we were on the slopes after lunch. There were untouched powder runs in Grandview's trees every run all day! Hope to put some clips together from there soon.
Next day was at Homewood .Plenty of lightly tracked powder left there as shown in this video. They had about about a 1/2 foot fall there Thurs night also. First few clips are from the 9th and the last few are from a few days later on the 12th which required a little up hill travel to find the untouched canvas I was after . That's about the 8th trip there for me and Its been great every time !.
Video from Homewood CA, the tree spacing is spectacular here so we stuck to the woods most of the time.Unfortunately an east wind crusted up quail face and we were unable to hit it as it was a glacier. The trees kept us very entertained.
