Looking for discounts . . .  I can get Killington weekday for 64 and Sugarbush weekend for 70 from work discounts . . . . Any better leads?

Or does anyone have access to a better discount or unused ticket?  Thanks.

Got Killington on Liftopia.  Thanks.  I hadn't used Liftopia before, but had checked earlier in the planning stages and the offers weren't good.  I guess the offers change constantly on Liftopia?  We I do the excursions from beyond Snowtime, I will have to check this out more frequently.

Never been to Killington, can't wait.  Hint's appreciated!

If you dont mind me asking...what kind of a deal did you get for lodging and airfare?  Ive been twice to Killington and to sugarbush and love both. Sugarbush is more family and beginner oriented. Killington is for the hardcore skier. Both can get icey if it hasnt been favorable weather.

Both are great for all levels. Sugarbush has some of the most famous (and best) expert terrain in New England. Can't go wrong with Castlerock and Paradise. Plus, North has some hidden gems.

For K-Mart, pick a base area based upon what you want to ski. You can spend a lot of time going from A to B there if you are not careful. Pico is also worth considering for a day if you are spending 5 or so days at Killington.

Is it Pee-co or Pi-co? I've always wondered...

Vince and I skied it a few years ago.  I asked an employee how it was pronounced and he said, Pie-koh

I got 69$ airfare from Southwest so thats pretty good.

Hotels are 59-79$, we are not on the slopes though at that rate, we have to drive 15 minutes to Killington.  After Killington we are driving half way to Sugarbush and staying about 40 minutes from the slope.  We are only spending 1 day at Sugarbush.  Kinda  a budget trip with me and my son who is working now.

We have never done North East so this should be a new experience.  I will likely post some pics and trip reports.  Pray for more snow.

If you are an advanced skier and going to the Beast on a weekend park at Bear Mountain, you can ski Bear, Skye and Killington peaks no problem.  If you are there midweek just park at K1.  If you are intermediate and/or just want cruisers park at Ramshead for easy access to Ramshead and Snowdon peaks.  Make sure you grab a drink or sit down for a steak at Wobbly Barn (be aware of big crowds at weekend dinnertime, earlybird dinner no problem).

Rodney,

I may ask a few questions after I look at the trail map this weekend and read some trip reports.  This is the advice I need now.
