There used to be a site www.snow-guide.com that I would look at often when looking at different ski resorts throughout the country (Canada too) that was nothing fancy, but had easy access to all the ski resorts with stats, descriptions, a variety of trail maps, etc..     Unfortunately that site is no longer around so wanted to ask if anyone had a favorite site or two that you use when looking for easy to access information on ski areas throughout North America.

For stats like vertical or acreage in a consistent format, OnTheSnow is okay.  They just pull info from ski resort websites so if there are errors or omissions then they don't get fixed.

The website I found recently that has basic descriptions of a lot of places in the U.S., plus detailed guides for a few is SkiBum.  Evolved from Gondyline .

The Guides on Snowpak are pretty detailed but only cover a few major destination resorts where Aussies are more likely to spend a week or two during their summer vacation (Jan-Feb).  Full disclaimer: I provided most of the info for the guides for Alta and Snowbird.  Snowpak has been around for a while but was upgraded and updated starting in 2017.
