Are any of the ski areas close-ish to DC offering significant lift ticket discounts? I could possibly ski during the week.

Wintergreen has a 6-hour lift ticket for $39. Only open 9:00-3:00 midweek.
I'm skeptical they'll still be going after the weekend. I probably can't get anywhere until Wednesday of next week if at all. $32 lift has my attention though. I've never skied there, but it looks beautiful.
If Whitetail and/or Liberty are open next week, what they want people to do is buy a season pass for next season this March. Good until they close, whenever that happens. Also any mid-week pass is always good for late season weekends.
Massanutten reopens Friday, late season prices in effect.

They got at least 4 inches out of the storm. Probably not too much melting on the upper mountain.

Correct - This is officially the last weekend for Wintergreen for the season.
The trial balloon that I floated was shot out of the sky by my wife, so it's a moot point for me.
Good luck to those that can get out though!
I've had a significant reversal of fortune and perhaps I can convince my better half that a day of skiing might not be such a bad thing.
I suppose I could go as far as Massanutten or Whitetail. Any idea on the quality of snow there?
So, should I trust Massanutten saying they have "powder" from this storm?
it's either them or Whitetail and I'm leaning 'nut.
